The NOCO Singles concept originated in 2008, as The NOCO Social Club, by a small group of single business owners and professionals in Fort Collins and Loveland, CO. The group knew that they wanted to meet more like-minded individuals but working from home, hectic schedules and lack of a qualifiable “dating pool” kept them somewhat… out of the loop.
The collective group started a MySpace account and grew a few friends. Organized a few hit-or-miss meet ups. They knew their quest was not only their own, but the shared quest of MANY area entrepreneurs and business professionals. Yet they still weren’t reaching their target “market” – other intelligent and like-minded individuals who were tired of online dating, fix-ups and blind dates. In 2009 they teamed with BIGPicture Media, and took their networking to the Big Time: The Twitosphere. An ever-growing network of twitter folk, ReTweets and socializing brought NOCO Singles where it is today… hosting the 1st Annual NOCO Top 25 Single Business Professionals event. Go Figure!
